OUR STORY - A LOVE STORY

In 2011, young moroccan entrepreneur Jihane Jeblaoui met Eric Mitelman, a french businessman, in Casablanca. Filled with a zest for life and adventures, both love to travel the world looking for new challenges. In 2014, their love story led to a marriage. After a few years spent in Casablanca and the birth of their son Milan in 2017, they decided to spend a sabbatical in Mexico.

In 2018, the couple moved to Playa del Carmen, where they enjoy the natural environment and the place's purity. A classical ballerina and lover of roses, Jihane had long dreamt of developping a concept that would allow elegant and sophisticated roses an eternal life inside. This dream sprouted in Eric and Jihane's minds, until they decided that the time had come to create their brand and share their love of roses. This information quickly spread along the Playa del Carmen and people started to request more and more boxes: MILA Maison des Roses was born.

The brand's colours are inspired by Jihane's love for classical ballet. Pink is the colour of the "tutu", worn by classical dancers and representing hard work, discipline, elegance and beauty. Today, the creation of these luxurious floral compositions is a result of these high norms of quality, combined with perpetual innovations in the world of design. Currently, MILA Maison des Roses is based in eight countries: US, Canada, Switzerland, Caribbean, Mexico, Morocco, France and Spain.

Each of our boxes is made by hand, by one of our charming teams in the different countries in which MILA is represented. We take loving care of the roses and use each tool carefully.
